Maolaosan's Sketchbook,Making progress is enjoyable

Hi all,I'm here to make some friends,so we can make progress again and again together.Feel free to comment & critique me.

My target is make some fine art (before I die) that can be remembered for 200 years. If I can't do this,never mind,drawing make me happy,that's enough.

As a newone here,let me introduce myself:Chinese,35 years old,Male.I knew CA because months ago my friend gave me a link about MindCandyMan's amazing journey--what a tough guy he is!CA is good place,A looooooot of guys here do muuuuch better than me.A looooooooot of guys from different countries here love drawing as I do.

I have took some formal training from the very beginning for 4 months, from 2010--2011,major target of the class is for ordinary highschool students to pass the exam so they can go to art college(teachers there are from CAFA-Chinese Central Academy of Fine Arts). Most of my classmates are girls who have half age of mine. A "very old" man learn together with them, always make they curious. It is a FAQ : ask "why do you come here?" answer "I love doing this" .The oldest classmate is a 59 years old woman. When I see her drawing very carefully (a stainless steel pot),I feel..... Love is a wondering thing.

My English is not well, write comment is not a easy thing for me(But with the help of Online-dictionary,I believe I can understand what you reply this thread). I start writing this from last night, now ,sunshine is coming in through the window(kidding... from 22:30 to ....23:18 now)

No recent stuff,so upload an old one. When i was drawing this,I was a middle school student,lived with my grandma & grandpa.Many memories recalled by this sketch when I found it from the bottom of my cabinet.

hi, welcome in here, you seem to have a good pencil stroke, and a good humour.
(the cat piece killed me) so i dont see any reason that you won't make great
stuff soon, keep on training!

@bouroune,thank you very much.That cat is very famous here because he can hold everything (all kinds of fruits,grass,boxes and so on)on his head and keep perfect balance.He is fed by a Japanese farm holder.We call him "Uncle Cat"

Upper one is 7th of post #6 I drew last night(your today morning). and then,I cried badly.collected my tears in my cup and swallowed them,then,they come out immediately from my eyes!!! Oh!! how poor I am.

with tear stains,I drew a new one this morning (your today night),ahh....feel better~~

haven't update for about 1 week,but I do draw something everyday. Have a sketchbook at CA and check others stuff do help me keep drawing.Thx a lot to CA. This week,I draw friends,their sons/daughters/girlfriends ... so I don't post. Because I promised them will not post to any website.

A friend traveled more than 1k miles to perform a show

a famous writer who wrote many children's fairy tales.In his novel,there are two cute rats,one drive tank,other drive helicopter。（"drive" maybe not right here...)And last year,when he was over 60 years old,he started learning play guitar, his blog said:"when I'm washing my feet, I practising play guitar",so I draw this.(Oh......... my English is very pooooooooor)
