Here are the final pencils for the wedding commission thing, ready to be painted. Name: Lapiz-definitivo.jpg

Now I'm waiting for the commissioners to tell me which color they prefer for the background. I can't quite decide myself - I think I tend to the gold/ocre background, but husband likes the blue one better.
    Which one would you choose?

Thanks, Betty! The client also preferred the gold version, so that's what I did.
    Here's the finished piece.

I also just finished a "speed" painting (it actually took 3 hours...) for Photoshop practice:

It's based on a photo from our living room, and I'm VERY proud of this because the lighting was so complex and I have so little experience with Photoshop painting. So I suppose I can forgive myself for taking too long to paint it. XD
This tutorial on DA was a big help: http://tanathe.deviantart.com/art/Sp...rial-292867500

Thanks! That girl might become the main character of a yet undeveloped comic project. We'll see if that comes into fruition some day.

I really enjoyed drawing Honeypot, great fun. =D I just finished painting her with markers today, I'll upload her later! ^^

braineater, thanks a lot! I don't hear often someone saying that my style is unique... for most people it's either "too manga" (for those who prefer cartoon style) or "too cartoon" (for those who prefer manga). XDD So it really makes me happy to hear it. ^^

So anyway, here's my colored Honeypot. Been a while since I last used Copic markers, and I don't have too many colors, so the challenge was to get good results with the tones I have on hand. Also it's the first time I've tried to use gray tones for shading effects, I was experimenting with that, too. I kind of like how her tights turned out, I had never tried something like that before either.

General Malaise will be more difficult I think, I picture his jacket a military olive green, but I don't have a tone like that among my markers... so I'll have to try and mix several layers. Let's see how that turns out... XD

    Thank you.

Okay, so I WAS painting General Malaise, then I saw this nice photo of a horse on DA (http://www.deviantart.com/#/d4xxd3d) and since my markers were already spread out on the table, decided to give it a shot. No pencil sketch, just markers, no erasing or anything anywhere. I'm usually too shy to try stuff like that, but I figured, what the hell? XD
And I really need to learn not to rely on lines as much, and improve my color and value techniques.

...And in the end, I'm quite proud of the result. I really do have much more fun with traditional medium than digital.

@snacks ex machina: Thanks a lot!

Okay, it's time to keep working on my comic project. There's a publisher who might be interested, so I have to finish all the character designs and do some sample pages. Fingers crossed! But first - lots of work to do.

Here's the next character sheet I finished.

Wow, been a while since I last updated. I keep forgetting - but believe me, I have been drawing. A lot.

Here are some more characters from the same project as the previous one. All lined up.

I also did 3 comic pages for this project, but I'm never too sure if it's smart to show that kind of things online... So I'll show you just one of 'em and hope that's okay. ^^"

And here's something quite different - drawings for a commissioned picture alphabet I did for a school. That was lots of fun, trying to capture the essence of every thing / animal with as few strokes as possible without making it abstract and keeping it appealing for children. =D

There's more stuff I've done, but I'd say this'll do for now. ^^

Thank you rumpelstilzkin, I hope the editor I sent it to thinks so as well! =D
And I always appreciate your comments, by the way. ^^

Here are a few concepts from a different project altogether, which I enjoyed making. I'm quite proud of that motorcycle, I'm usually very bad at machines and have never really done an actual design, but this was surprisingly fun and I think it turned out neat, considering my complete desinterest in machine design. XDD
