Help with Compositions?

I'm trying to recreate a cover for the old video game Gauntlet, which features a Male Warrior, Female Warrior/Valkyrie, and Archer. (It's for a challenge online.)

This is the first time I've actually planned out an image through thumbnails and compositions, and it just bumped up art's fun factor immensely.

Anyways, I feel the first one is kind of safe, but the has the most sound composition. The second feels more dynamic, but something feels off to me; I tried pushing it a little further in the 3rd, and I just need a new pair of eyes on this.

Note: I haven't gotten into using any references yet. I'm waiting to develop my idea further..

I like the second one the best. The 3rd is not balanced as there is more weight on the left side (viewers left).

For me, I like the first one. You can't beat the bi-lateral symmetry present there. There is just too much going on in the second one, and the third one is not balanced as bishop suggested, but the same can be said of the second one.
