This is the latest. It's a private commission, that will also be going into the portfolio. One more piece to go before I begin the promotion process. Yay office work!
Really nice! I like your "classic" style!

You shouldn't have any problem getting work, man! That last piece is just incredible...
Thank you both. Blackthorne, I hope you are right.
I was working all night on the portfolio and decided to take a break. This is just a quickie from today. I was voicing my displeasure with the movie version of Cobra Commander's mask. I decided to do this instead of continuing to bitch.
Wonderful paintings, Aaron, i love the way you handle composition.
My favourite is sith girl and skeletons. You're showing a great set of skills and artistic taste.
Keep this up!
Thank you.
Great painterly style, looks really organic.

Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard!
Thanks v0rbiss & project_razor.
Here is a quick portrait study I did over the weekend.
There's a lot to like here![]()

Thank you, GEB, Len53Pan & Seaport. I'm glad you like my work.
Just another quick portrait. Procrastinating.
I'm loving the atmosphere and layout of the Dracula piece.
Other work is solid, but that one stands out to me.

The final piece of the portfolio puzzle. Now on to the thrilling adventure of busy work and promotion.
great work.. post 29 and 5 are really inspirational!
there is some wierdness going on in that red samurai pic though
but still thanks for sharing !
GOD is HOPE
Mehran,
thanks. what's the weirdness that you are seeing?
Quick painting from today. Taking a break from busy work. Trying out the watercolor brushes in Painter.
Here are some black & white monster designs I did for Open Design LLC. for some Pathfinder modules they are putting out. There are a bunch of these I've done, but I'm only able to show the ones that have been released. I hadn't done B&W like this for a very long time. As I've done more, I've become more comfortable with them, I've started to loosen up and experiment a little. These are still pretty tight. The next few after this are progressively looser (more fun). I'll show those as they are released.
Finally have something I can share. This is a book cover I did for Night Shade books. The Flames of Shadam Koreh by Bradley P. Beaulieu. My thanks to Dave Palumbo for the opportunity and the art direction.![]()
Instead of turning around and talking to you in the studio, I will leave a message here: awesome work. Keeps getting better and better.
I admire your courage to the complex and dynamic compositions
Jeff, I prefer this method to actual human interaction. Even if we are just a few feet apart.
biglebowsky, thank you. It's not always a fun process, but I'm usually pleased with the end result.
Wow, so much cool stuff in here. I love the black and white pieces further up - really strong and graphic. Great compositions all round too, and someone mentioned your midtones. I agree. Thats an area I struggle with so to see someone handle it so well is an inspiration.
Thank you for posting and good luck with future work. Looks like the hard portfolio work paid off.
