Good stuff, Joe. I'm excited for our perspective thread. Are you excited? You better be. Oh, you better be...

And I feel like you're such a tease with the game stuff. I wanna SEA MOAR! And is it a personal thing between friends, this game, or are you big time pro now and leaving us all behind with your awesomeness?

Oh, I've posted it a couple of times, but I'm out of town for a few days, but I'll post some shit for our puzzles when I get back.

Awesome work man. I really dig your mechanical and industrial design stuff. Some of it even reminds me of Syd Mead.
Great stuff. Try making them interact in some way, like a fight, or one fixing/building another. Put them in an environment too.

Some of those gasmask designs are awesome! A couple of them reminded me of Bioshock. Thanks for commenting on my thread too . Also I've been contemplating if I should join that perspective thread, because I think it would motivate me to study more perspective stuff. Anyway, rock on

Good stuff, Joe. I think one of the toughest things about moving from line drawing to painting values is still recognizing where the forms are and controlling your edges. Of course values are important, but these two have been tricky for me especially.

hey joe great to see you start painting.those studies look a bit formless though, maybe buy some geometric forms
and do value still life of them,I am doing that right now and it helps a bunch.I also think the reference you picked is not ideal for educational purposes, you want photos
that show form with simple clear shapes with limited values.

I think within no time you will do great.

Hey Joe, it's great to see you jumping into painting, man. It's a huge leap from line drawing, as I'm sure you know. Right now I think you're "juggling" too much by trying to paint with color before you understand your values well enough. Do as much greyscale as you can for now.
