    Update!

Jaik Thanks alot for stopping by!!! Yea i love using those prismacolor ones, so much fun. Got to get better

XBERT DDDuuuuuuddee havent talk to you in quite a while, thanks alot for the comment that means alot coming from you man. Its been a few months since i posted on here and it feels good to be back. Been doing alot of learning on line weight and perspective still, not where i wanna be but soon i will have alot of time for training then its game on

jcpahl Thanks alot for stopping by! Yea i love alot of more traditional old school sketching styles like Doug Chiang's style. Still trying to get use to my wacom tablet to transfer to digital soon lol Thanks!!!

    UPDATE!!!!

Here are some random drawings straight from my head. They are not the best but it feels good to finally be able to pump out some orginal work and whats in my head on paper. It feels like its been all training and no rewards till just recently. Orginal works take far less time and are so much more rewarding. Reminds me alot of guitar, i remember the days when i couldnt make songs then one day i just started making up stuff and everything was such stress free

Those studies studies you did are excellent, and I just listened to one of your songs. (The Mortal, which is a good example of Dark Techno.) With that being said, I think you should study more on the fundamentals, while at the same time, working on more of your own design work.

    Very nice sketchbook mate!

I love these markersketches, very solid and clean, especially those robots from post #19 and i really like the combination of thicker and thinner lines in lots of your sketches.

    Keep up the good work!!

Very nice lines in your marker stuff!
I like your ideas, these pear like houses especially

I'm kinda bad with anatomy.., but i would advice you to go hard with skeletons + building more human forms from cubes, egg shapes instead of working with muscles. At first muscles seems to be more important, but in fact they are not.

Great music on Soundcloud! Do you have any band?

Mhugo Thanks alot for the comment!!

Cojac Yea i need to get back into working on alot of areas. Anatomy is a big one for me

tsabuHey thanks for stopping by, no band for me sadly, cant find people to start one with lol so i just do everything myself Yea im wanting to do some reverse engineering where you take a photo and draw the skeleton on top of it. You have to turn the opacity down on the photo and imagine what the skeleton looks like at that pose. Been doing that today but its giving me some trouble lol

    Update!
    Just a quick update!
Need more time for drawing, im going to have to make time very soon
Here are some life drawings and an engine i was drawing in photoshop. Still trying to get use to drawing with my wacom tablet lol it is hard lol

Nice work on the perspective studies/pieces.
One thing you might want to consider, is that a lot of good designs show an understanding of the why and hows of the real world/history.

Joe, Great sketchbook here! The studies are really paying off when it comes to your rendering in particular.
That being said I'd strongly suggest you do some studies to get a better understanding of form and volume in space, erspective etc. It's noticeable in your studies because whilst the shading is fairly accurate the perspective is what lets it down. Take some time to have a look at construction through simplified forms, even only for a short while, just to keep that idea in your head. It will reflect really well in your vehicles especially but also in your characters.
Matt Kohr has recently done a series on the subject on http://www.ctrlpaint.com/ , and I'd also recommend looking at Michael Hampton's anatomy book as he has a great skill at finding the forms in figures.

Anyway, great work so far! Keep it up!
