Some from my imagination, just trying new brushes and drawing what is on my head, other from life, but stylized, and other from life itself.

I used the wrong size for some drawing/painting because I was drawing with 800x600 resolution (didn't have a good video card :T) or I was going to finish it but I couldn't

Judging from those pencil studies, I see a lot of potential from you. "Just keep at it" is all I have to say.

At this point, if you're going to do things from imagination, first do a photo study, and then try to paint something similar from imagination immediately after. Application will solidify what you've learnt

Also don't post your scans so huge, I've got a large monitor and they still huge.

It seems as if your diving right in to your paintings without getting the composition sorted out first. do a bunch of value or linework thumbnails, like 100 even. Can be like 50 from photos, 50 from imagination. Basically jsut getting a rough impression of the placement of objects in the scene.

if you haven't studied these books yet, or even if you have already, they're highly recomended... post about it here: link

Looking very good. I'd practice just a little more with boxes and cylinders and try to apply them a little more. I'd say, try to -at least once- construct every feature with 3D planes, I mean, the nose, the ears, the nostrils, etc. If you make a hand, don't only do a cylinder for every finger, go further, make three cylinders for every finger, one for each falange.

    Post

@Aragah: Então, Valeu pelo comentário. Vou continuar sim xD

I won't write this in english.

So now that I'm feeling better I wish you all a great year full of art work (paid art work), improvment and happiness.

I'll be posting my studies tomorrow.

    See ya

    It's been a long time...

So... I'm still drawing 2~4 pages a day, but I don't feel like posting it here
I mean... I know where I'm going wrong, I just have to draw more to get it the way I want.

Here are a couple of pages just to say that I'm not dead and I'm still drawing things~

    Have a nice week :D
