Hmmmmmmm..... I've got a good generic idea on what i want him to look like....but this is as far as my 14 year old mind can go.......
C&C would be good...plus and suggestions would be nice!

Well, first, you might want to get a different picture provider like photobucket, that way you could post images in the actual thread, but having a deviantart account isn't a mortal sin.
About the actual pic, it looks pretty good. Lines seem pretty sharp and you seem to have a good grasp of anime style. Couple minor things though. It may not be the case, but the lack of hands and feet makes it appear as though you have no confidence in drawing them. If that is the case, keep in mind that the only way to improve is to draw them constantly. Only other things I really saw : neck seems too long (a turtle neck should go to the chin, so his head needs to come down a notch), I don't understand the wire/string thing on his sword handle (its purpose isn't really apparent, so it should probably go altogether), and I'm not sure what's going on near his knees, (if those are folds you definitely need to work on them and if it's a design thing, you might want to watch that people might mistake them for your attempt at folds).
Still, overall I like the pic, lines are good as I said, the pose looks good. Keep up the good work.
I would suggest to stray from anime and learn the basics of art and realism first. Just my 2 cents. Do not take this the wrong way please.

Nah, this board seems relatively flame-free from all I've seen.
