    a spaceship doodle

    Look like I initially started it in b/w , but nope - I colored directly and still looks like it has an uninspired colour pallett. Also tried to stand while drawing - like derp

    some doodles

    new

    Working on my weak side , enviroments.
    each from referance 30 mins about.

    Also thinking about clothing

    Another weakness is working from greyscale, I guess I'll detail it abit more and put an overlay over it for getting sort of an atmosphere, then preceed to paint flat colors on it.

    For learning environments one thing that helped me was really learning perspective. Find some pictures to study from that feature architecture and try to find where the vanishing points and the horizon line are (you can do this with artists you like too). And try building some scenes in perspective from imagination, even if its just boxes. Its incredibly tedious and boring but really educational.

    Keep doing the 30min dailies though! In my opinion you're using a bit too much black in them.

    Starting up some armor studies , due to 40 mins armor breakdown

    here

    so did this

    Happy with it , but will do more.

    Saw a site with awesome anatomy " constructive anatomy ", I just like who much the shapes they use to describe form - going to use them in my personal anatomy gestures.

    Noses and eyes needs alot of improvments

    As skMOP adressed. I need some foundation perspective training.

    doing alot of pictures that I overlay with perspective grids , also created
    a "playground" in photoshop.

    nice figure studies man, spot on.
    I like your environments too. but, on your first snowy mountainous environment, I think you could give it more atmosphere by whiting it out a little and adding some snow, especially for the biggest one at the back. would make it look further away and more epic
    take my words with a pinch of salt though, im yet to tackle environments haha

    Thanks man ,

    @MiladThaha

    Yeah , those armor studies rely quite alot on enviroments since they are so shiny. I might do some armors again.

    Thanks aswell

    Some more snowy mountains. Going to change enviroment eventually - just not yet.

    @Kevin Thanks man !

    really missing painting skin. here are some colormixing. trying to make a skinpalett - no colorpicking, jus referance. Some of the skins ended up quite dull as I dident surround the shadowshapes terminator with a deep red.
    Strange how you realise that when your done.

    Urgh It pains me when I can't do anything but just give ass pats! but I'm just truly digging your work ethics man! it really resonates with me! I've had a bunch of things to do in my head study wise and methods and you are doing them, especially with the landscape stuff. Keep it up!

    did you ever finish this pic by the way?
    If I happen to comment on your sketchbook, please don't feel obliged to comment on mine. use that time instead to get back to work.
