Briggsy, the ball was a rather saturated green and matte surfaced, the light source is supposed to be the sun (almost noon) and the table is supposed to be the ground. I followed basic guidelines as I went, such as upward facing shadows reflecting the blue of the sky, downward shadows are warmer as they get the reflected sun, so I was trying to play up the contrast between warms and cools. I'm just a little lost, so guidance is welcomed, especially from someone who knows colors like you do (I love your site; very informational if just a little confusing, ha).
