The only game where link was ever "old" (17 about) was OoT. The point of Zelda games is supposed to be a young boy (innocence) overcoming evil. That being said, he has grown up abit and I think he looks kick ass with his chainmail..

It's inspiring just how much they've been able to experement with the styling of the zelda series!

Think about it, so many illustrative directions within that one franchize than almoast the entire industry as a whole! I was worried that a more realistic zelda may come off just as any PC fantasy clone, or LOTR rip ... but it's clear after seeing this that they've been able to put just as much personality in this one as was in Wind Waker.

I hope they keep experementing, I hope the next zelda game is played on a Celtic Scroll.

That's not Zelda, its Warhammer Fantasy mixed with LotR and the usual 3rd person gayness... plus a missshaped horse. I like Link's chainmail though.
Jamen jag tror att han skäms, och har gömt sig. Vårt universum det är en av dom otaliga spermasatser som Herren i sin självhärliga ensamhet har runkat fram för å besudla intet.

Yup I agree with that. looks like the typical 3-d rpg game with some zelda characters thrown in there. Where's that zelda artistic flavor?

I'll buy it anyways though...can't help it......

trust me, the game will be looking far more loveley and zelda-ish once it comes out. it allways does. all we've seen are some earley screens and footage. it could have been taken ages ago, so the game could be looking alot different now.

anyone remember the first footage of zelda:tww? it looked nice, but it looked 100% more awesome and draw dropping when the final game came out.

so just wait and see, i'm sure it'll bee oozing with style once its finished. i meen come on, they made wind waker! they know what they're doing ^-^

I remember the last time Nintendo released the "new" zelda.

Then they changed their minds and ruined it.

People wanted their 'realistic' zelda game... and zelda is pretty close to traditional fantasy, so they're [LOTR, and crappy PC fantasy] gonna' look pretty close.

That's why nintendo never wanted to go that direction... Kinda like making another sports game, "how's yours any different?"

You can only do so much with traditional fantasy, but if it has half the personality that Wind Waker had then it'll be amazing.
