Really Sick! Bernard Werber would be impressed to see your project i think Seems like you spent almost 10-15 years drawing and creating all this insect world. Deep respect for the passion and all the hard work! Sick project

Thanks for the great feedback peeps,

Lourense - I got about half way through BW's Ant Empire book, but it didn't grab me as much as I thought it would, - I should revisit it, he's very popular, so I think I missed something

Conte - thanks for the feedback, insect wars happen within the book, but they're more of a background tableaux, something to compare the different "lifestyles" between the organised societies and the antics of the two protagonists

Velocity - Cheers! - I admit it was also a killer to finally finish

Swervdriven - I will be happy to supply - process shots will def be in the pipeline, but I'm thinking I should post them in my sketchbook so I dont clog the FF pages,

    Here's more, enjoy

Just got my copy in the mail, just so spectacular, frigging amazing. I haven't read through the whole thing yet, but I really like the text so far. Is the "champions breakfasting" line a reference to Kurt Vonnegut by any chance?

    Thanks again peeps,
gjpetch - Thank you, I was worried whether the writing worked - and i'm happy you spotted the Vonnegut bit - "Breakfast of Champions" is such a neat title, it has that sense of fun and wordplay that fits the rest of the text so well, - knowing also that this is what Keith Richards called his "first of the day speedballs" (cocaine and heroin), I get to ride that chord too. I'd love to know who coined the phrase first.

Amazing stuff! Going to get the book. Have you ever seen the work of Alexis Rockman? If not I think you would really like it. Very different, but great insects as well.

These are crazy! It took me a bit to start to see the flow of storyline, but ever without it I am blown away. Amazing use of color and composition. I also love the creation of the new insects.. I was actually almost fooled a few times, thinking for a bit that these were real insects that i just hadn't seen yet.

    Update, new images

    Here's some more snippets, -
WyckdNick - I'm intrigued that you can see some flow in the images released already, just to relieve you of the crazyness they're in no particular order
    Danka - thank you
Brian - Cheers, I haven't seen Rockman's work before, reminds me of Wayne Barlowes work a lot.
