    111117 Crushin' some mo~

-Naidy- Thanks for the post, sorry for the slap?

-John Silva- Thanks, and will do! Though I think I'll push and CRUSH!

    Hellooooo

Here's my 30min sketches from today. Still struggling a lot with these, but working things out slowly! Starting to enjoy this space knight again. His colours are black grey and red, which is kinda NINTENDO! Rendering the Nintendo KNIGHT from space isn't so bad wish I'd had that mental image to go with in the first place :{ Still CRUSHN'

Oh mannnn, those landscapes! Great sense of colour you have, I don't think I see many people tackle the ocean either. Liking the horse too, I wouldn't mind a horse with robot claws for hooves.

And don't apologise, everyone can use a bit of a slap about. Keep on crushing!

    111120 Crushn' Sunday Night away

    Jyoung- yes, yes it is.

Bogan- Thanks a lot John Also that blur effect is just that, a blurred layer of the whole image flattened put on mask, and then radial gradiented away. I'll be more mindful of your delicate sensibilities in the future

Naidy- Thank you again! I'm really trying to push through with colour and composition, while crushn all the other stuff too! Making some headway little by little

Breistift- And, I suppose what I SAID to Bogan, only with your name instead of John's...

    amarryth- Thank you

    AND~

Here's my 30min sketches from today. I did 4 because I took yesterday off from sketches and worked on my creature instead. I'll post that up soon, it's in a state of unidentified textures at the moment. I feel like I am taking a GIANT step backwards in all my work right now, in terms of what I am producing, but if that's what it's going to take to start making moves forward I am all for it.

Listening to Tangerine Dreams right now... so good.

    oh and also CRUSHING IT!

    111121 Crushn' Monday

-Zesiul- Thanks man, I'll make sure there's interesting stuff to see in here!

Todays Sketches, 30min each. The second image is just a small derple that looked neat. Trying new things all the time, secret successes hidden in each painting I swear! Crushn' dems obstacles!

Bogan- Gonna crush it HARD and avoid combo breakers as best I can!

-bobmeatbag- Those ARE the finished versions :p I hadn't planned on taking these further, but I might now that you mention it! Thanks

    -Aragah- Thanks dude

    AND TODAYS 30min's.

Two of these were done in class with my friends, but they are all 30 min. The subjects we chose in class were, "Frozen Immortal" and "Drowned Garden". I hope it's obv which is which. The final image is one I did just now at home, kinda might be a frozen immortal too now that I think about it! I should start thinking harder when I am doing these. Might go back to photo studies for a while to up my colour and lighting reservoir, kinda bare bones compositions and lights right now

    Gotta go CRUSH MY TEETH!

Saar you are CRUSHING these HARD. It looks like you are getting more comfortable and having more fun with these . They are looking more unified than your first ones, awesome! Those dark shapes are ominous in the last one, it would be a completely different image without them. Did you have a subject for that last one or did you just go for it?

    111123 Crush dem some more

-Bogan- Thank you John Yeah with that last one I didn't have an idea to go on. Kinda fun to work them that way, kind of harder to come up with a composition too.

-r zanchetin- Thank you! Everyone should CRUSH all the time, yes. You shouldn't be more like me, you should be more like you, on CRUSH!

-Leyth- Tanks, I'll be sure to keep postin'

Here's tonights 30mins. The subjects were Metal Soul, and White Plague. Gotta CRUSH all my studying together into one big condensed art wreking ball capable of CRUSHN' everything!

try cropping the metal soul painting just a little on the top and on the left. that way the focal point is less central. nice work!

your one set of 30's with the house in the trees and glowing forest underneath it could be one painting all together with some tweaking in the middle. could be siiiick. Keep crushing the quickies duuude.

30 min before class. It looks like either an intergalactic deal of some dark variety, or a man in a nice dress being cross with a large alien goober? Either way, somethings getting CRUSHED!!!

Looking nice here Saar :] I really like the self portrait and the oceanic humanoid WIP. I would suggest though that while i commend your 30 minute studies. You should also try to spend a little longer on certain pieces just to develop them further. However, you should progress at whatever pace your comfortable with :p Keep on CRUSHIN!

Large alien goobers have their place, too

Try modeling the perspective of the goober a little, maybe... a one-point perspective grid behind the goober could make the straight-line details of the chest-pieces line up a little better.

Also check to make sure the saturation levels aren't too close... the values are pretty close across the board.

Duuuude you are CRUSHing so hard! So where are these streams and danger rooms and stuff people keep talking about, by the way? You mention it here and if it motivated you that much, well, I want in.

Your outlook and enthusiasm are as inspiring as your efforts. Subscribed.
