    Parmjeet Johal work

Hello, I am new to conceptart.org, not really sure how this site works, so let me know if I've put it all in the wrong place, I will upload old finished work, and newer sketches, which is all I seem to do these days. I am always open to advice, thanks.

Great stuff mate, this is a great start. Your works are already interesting. I especially like these loose environments, very nice blocking of values and colors. Lets keep up!!!

Really quick poses from imagination, I don't really do these at all, but I thought what better time to start now, it will be interesting to see how these pose sheets progress over time. I've been interested in palaeolithic type culture as of late, and lean body build.

definitely keep up doing poses. They seem to have nice action from being non-ref. You are gonna do great.

Thanks for telling me to come here, I wouldn't have done them otherwise ha, the forum layout is actually pretty nice. I had some photos open, but more to just check after that everything felt ok, anatomy wise, well I didn't really need them, I suppose I need a bit more confidence in my knowledge, I like to study pretty often from dance video's, they have come in useful.

mate these are really good. I mean they are not finished but the most important skill to have is to be able to make great thumbnails. So the thing you have to keep working, is the tightening up and improving in overall. You are already doing great, just show us how you can tighten up some of these, mostly at the focal point/area
    Lets keep up !!!

Hey man, thanks, yeah I need to work on my speedpainting technique, but I'm sure that will evolve once I learn to use brushes better. At the moment its either real loose sketches or more full blown looking paintings, so yeah I gotta work on my middle technique. Heres another 2 sketches haha, I got some ideas for the river castle one, so will have to work on that some more, cheers for the feedback, I will keep working at it, cheers.

These sketches are Nathan Fowkes inspired, I love his sketches, if you haven't seen his work you should check out his blog, on another level.

hehe i have seen his works, well he has great knowledge. I like the first one more, because it has the area with the smaller strokes that gives some interest for the eye.
    Keep up !!!

This is a portrait of Lara, an elvish desert dancer.
Not sure if I executed this very well, but I thought I would post it anyway as I spent a little bit of time on it, well more than I would these days, which isn't a lot.
