    recent paints & concepts

hey fellas, it's been some time since I shared anything. I've been really busy this year, and although much of the work I've done remains under NDA, I thought I'd post some of the stuff I farted out in 2011 so far. There are some book covers, some concepts, some lifedrawing....hope you dig it and I hope everyone is doing good. cheers!

Good to see you posting again! So much power in the Red Sonja one, the huge axe is a little hard to make out the shape at first
Her face captures my eyes first so in my perliferary vision the shape is bulky and out of place, but eventually makes sense. I love that image.
The Tarzan ones are great, actually all these images are top notch, some studies from your blog its all cool and inspiring!!!!!

Really impressive work, the mech-stuff is very solid and convincing. I like the movement in the pieces - the Tarzan one for example. I agree with Midnight - the redhead barbarian is great too. I know they are supposed to be clones, but I wish the poses had been a bit more varied either side of the Sith girl. There are 2 troopers looking very similar on each side? But hey - how picky is that???

    Good skills.

Simply awesome art... the motion and energy from your 2nd tarzan painting is just beautifully rendered. I love the crispness you have achieved throughout your work.

Your life paintings are stunning. how on earth have created the soft yet sharp feel to your brush strokes...

I love it all... thanks for sharing.
