Good work you have here. I'd say that your strongest areas are your ability to unify color, rendering form and giving your figures form. Your line work is pretty strong too but you lack variation of line thickness in your drawings. Adding more variation would be nice to see so push yourself in that area.

You seem to focus mainly on the figures in your pieces instead of the piece as a whole. Your background feel uninspired and boring when compared to the care you've taken to develop your figures. Some of your figures also have stiff poses and I would also be careful of too much rendering since this adds to them stiffening up.

I think looking at and studying the way the masters composed their images will help your ability to compose a complete image, if that is what you want to do with your work. Maybe you just want to do character design. Even if that is the case you're still gonna need to give your backgrounds more care and attention, i.e. spend more time designing them. Having such a glaring contrast between a highly developed figure and an underdeveloped environment/background is bad for image making since the whole piece is never unified.

Overall, you've got skills and you're good at what you do. Keep it coming!

Your stuff is nicely rendered and I enjoy your version of Mickey! One thing I would suggest though is working on your poses and storytelling. It looks like you copy movie screen shots, try some more dynamic ones, get some action down. Try having your figures show their emotion/action with just silhouette. It will surely add extra oomph to your next drawings =)!

Wingal Thx for the critique. I totally know what you mean I'm already working on that. "It looks like you copy movie screen shots" do you mean the moviestills? If so yes that are copies, they are just studies.

i really enjoyed your sketchbook, your characters are solid and well constructed, the rendering is ace and you seem to have a great taste in movies! awesome!

there s just one thing i d like to point out:
i assume the last two heads are from imagination? cuz your character studies all seem to have the same facial proportions. i mean there s variation in the features but their placement is very much alike in all of your characters.
