Hi, I'm trying to draw again after about 10 years of pretty much never picking up a pencil.
I am not very good!! I'd be very grateful for criticism

OK, not an excellent start on this "every day" thing, but here. It's from a pretty silly picture of a woman in latex-habit "nun" gear who I thought was pretty good at brandishing. If I tried to finish this I'd probably just make her an actual nun
Alright, first experiment with color media since kindergarten, ugh
45-second sketches, a doodle, a landscape
Another try at digital painting, studying a much simpler photo
Hey crumbs, you've made a great start here!
You seem to have a pretty good grip on anatomy and perspective, especially for someone who hasn't picked up a pencil in 10 years.
The gesture studies and sketch of the gun-wielding lady show that your lines need some work though.
Try to be more decisive, and make one line to describe the form, instead of lots of short sketchy ones. (this is the same thing I'm trying to work on at the moment)
Yeah, my hands think that they can get away with scribbling and erasing until some ugly thing resembling a single line emerges. Thanks, I'll work on that!
Some progress
Some 5-minute faces. Not sure how to go about improving my linework, hoping stuff like this helps
Edit: duh, the attachment
The girl with the gun looks great!
Once you find a good exersize for lines, give me a holler; I'm in the same boat!
Can't wait to see more, I'll keep dropping in.
Furry porn
Edit: Jesus christ I'm actually kind of proud of this
Ugh, was planning to be able to post this as "finished" today, here is some dubious "progress"
Least embarrassing products of 1-hour session at this pretty great site
