    Page three!
I started a speedpainting from a photograph but in a couple of hours of hasty painting I decided I really liked how it was going and was happy with the painting stage, but since there was no structural drawing stage I wasn't pleased with some of the wonkiness in her head.

I decided to start over entirely but to put some serious effort into the construction before any painting, so that's what the second image is. So far...not happy with it, but still hopeful that this might pay off if I stick with it.

First two are anatomy studies from the book Strength Training Anatomy, which I found a copy of while helping a friend move and have found really handy

The last three are from visiting a friends studio where myself and a group of 5 others idly doodled on a large sheet of paper with crayons and pastels over conversation.
    -the entire sheet
    -my section
-a menstrual volcano, with pubic hair and the newly discovered std: my little ponies

Hey! I just went through your sketchbook and although I fear I don't have any critique or constructive criticism to offer, I think it's amazing!

Your work ethic and technique are super-impressive to me. I want to emulate it, after seeing the intensity with which you study. I am reaching for my sketchbook just now.

Please keep posting -- and some more of your original stuff, it's great!

Great life drawings at the start of the thread and they've surely paid off along with all the studies, you seem to be very good with the figure! You've nailed the quick Posemaniacs studies well and the PS ones look very solid to be so quick.

This one has some really nice edge treatment and I like the loose but defined style of this painting, though the edge highlights of the trousers look a bit odd. I like the accuracy of color you're achieving in digital with the latest studies but with the watercolors, I recommend never using black because it tends to kill the vibrant feel of watercolor sketches. For a more vivid black, try mixing two complementary colors.

I like the effortless looking lines of some of your quick sketches like the birds on the last page, also nice job suggesting feather detail. I especially like this sketch, the way you've simplified the curvatures into lines, suggested masses with the lighter lines and the use of line weight make it look really solid. Your hand sketches have a good sense of form too but sometimes the fingers look a bit distorted, it might help to think about them as groups of boxes more than cylinders.

I don't know what your career goal is but you're definitely on the right track for learning to paint solid figures. Maybe more finished work in proportion would be good, unless you're posting them somewhere else. I really like the treatment of the face on this one, shows you can get great depth with values when you invest enough time.

    Keep them coming!
