Hey man, that's a really great interpretation of the Beholder topic, my only crit is the red, it looks really out of place, I think going back to a neutral grey or a yellow or something subtler would be better. Granted it seems like you're done with it XD just something to keep in mind if you feel like messing around with it.

@Psychobuddy yeah i know. I think I "over-produced" that piece. I'll learn to let certain things be next time. All the little edits I did really didn't help so much in the end.

Here's an entry, not so good. but hadn't submitted here in a while... so here. Inspired by Dark Tower
    Low Men... Lo Men...
*Removed this drawing. it was awful
this will hereby be my TEST POST.

Hey man! Stopping by after seeing all that stuff in Issacs Book you posted. Lots of Great stuff in here. I really like your gestures and creature-esque stuff. Reminds me that I need to start drawing more from imagination. Keep up the good work man.

So I've been trying to come up with some advice to offer you, but I've got nothing. So I'll just go with "I like your stuff friend". Have to follow your example and do some imaginative work...

thank you very much for the kind words! Imagination is important but in this post i'm kind straying from that, studies are my weak spot... and that is really not good for me...

    Jigen Daisuke

Ok i want to make a humanized Jigen from Lupin the 3rd for fun... sooooo i took saves step by step...

    1. screen capped the first time you see Jigen in the comedic Lupin the 3rd series. I have all the episodes....

    2. look at Jigen ...observe the jigen...

    3. get basic shapes of Jigen...

    4. What makes Jigen ..Jigen???

    - Hat covering eyes

-Collard shirt and tie and coat at clavicle area

    - beard with NO mustache!!! very characteristic of Jigen here.. and long at chin area in awesome style...

    - Hair billowing out in a Solid Snake Mullet... AWESOME

    - Skinny hat, black band.

    - Green, irish? giant leprechaun?? lol

    Making "realistic" Jigen...

    5. lay down human head under structure.

    6. PROFIT

    7. i'm sleepy ... to be continued... not sure if my "humanized" Jigen... is... idk... still looks cartoony.

Anime brought to real life.. means... skinny lanky... exaggerated features still...

Awshit, is that some Jigen? That's some Jigen. I"m liking you more everyday Shahan, ya got good taste (though I'm still not used to seeing you as not Sporus).

Check out some real-life people for hairlines, there's crazy amounts of variation to pull from.

Keep doing those heads, they're really paying off. Otherwise, just keep going man, pump out the studies and keep applying them. ^_^
