    laughs and fun

Hello. I think a sketchbook would be fun for drawing until I'm able to get some art education from somewhere. I hope that my sketchbook can go on for awhile and be a good one like Mindcandyman. Right now I do alot of mindless doodling and hope to end that. Hope you enjoy the gif.

i can see it in here though! haha that gave me a good chuckle..

the arts not bad, just keep studying. work on your foundations, some more work on values, anatomy, linework. but i see some look more worked out than others, so alot of the time it means your trying to rush things. im guilty of the same thing! more practice = better sketches! keep at it man!

Heya, I would do some more pencil renders if I were you, you seem to have more control with it and worrying about digital and foundation stuff at the same timemight slow you down. Maybe do some renders of basic shapes so you can get a better idea of how light hits forms. have fun, seeyaa

Thanks for the critique mac. I don't understand how it could slow me down though, all drawing is the expression of form and digital is just a medium. Although I would so much rather be oil painting I haven't been able to get all my supplies just yet. But I'm not worrying about digital, I just like to do it, and I think from doing alot of digital and playing with concepts of value and color before ever painting on an actual canvas will probably give me a headstart with traditional. Maybe I don't know. Fundamentally though your still just painting planes.

Hi there! I like your stuff. Very nice ideas in here, multi-organ people/creatures are always great. The only suggestion i can think of (quite brain dead) is to study perspective. I know that's exactly what i should be doing.

    Your gifs are awesome!

Hey mate, good start so far- specially with the pencils. I'd push yourself to make take that extra minute to double check where the features sit as some faces have eyes a little wonky.
    Keep up the good work.

I think you tend to fall back to just copying what you see (especially with the shading). You will get faster and better results if you study the form underneath

Hey man! Plunger? What, coffee plunger?
Please keep up with it, even if you're not updating, i hope you're still drawing! I would suggest starting from the most basic abstract shape and working around the whole thing as much as possible. I also believe more gestural drawing would help improve the expressiveness or 'emotion' of your characters.

Catch you bro, would be good to meet sometime and have a blaze
