Heeeeey, you're drawing the hands and feet! That's good. They look pretty good too, especially the perspective and angles. They do look a bit small. Since you're barely starting out I don't want to overwhelm you with techniques but just remember the hands and feet are usually bigger than they appear to be. Your eyes play tricksies on you. Another good way to see if things are proportional is to stand a couple feet away from your drawing and compare it to the model. It would be good to study your own hands and feet for you can get more comfortable drawing them. KEEP IT UP, you're doing great.

Are you available at all on Saturdays? This Saturday might actually work if you're interested, and I can probably round up one to three others to join us. I usually end up working until 7 pm on weekdays so only during late evenings would that work for me. Aye, private instruction is nice because you get led along the path to improvement and told when and where you're screwing up. I'm doing a mix of mostly private and some group classes with a live model at this point. If you want I can ask Starbelly if she'd be able to take another student, I think she normally charges about ten dollars an hour, but you get told what to do for homework in between lessons so even only meeting twice a week leaves you busy with things to do.

Ha, I recognize your model by the way, that must mean you're doing something right.

Hem: This coming saturday I am free before 4:30, so we could all go in the morning. This coming week I am only free monday afternoon, so saturday would probably be best. Let me know. This website and all the people posting are actually turning out to be great 'private' tutors lol, but it would definitely be nice to get some direct face to face teaching in the future.

You're nailing the gesture and movement of the figure. Good job. The anatomy and proportions are off but are improving. I like your take on perspective too. There are things to be corrected but it still looks good. For example, the last drawing, his left leg looks like it's being extremely twisted BUT the perspective looks good. I can tell the foot pointing away from me. I think the most successful drawing is the man laying down with both his legs bent. The foreshortening looks good. Lastly, I like your contrast, but the dark values drown out other values. Perhaps you should make a value scale. Keep it up, i see mega improvement.

Hem: Yeah Wednesday mornings are no good. Saturday would work but I need a very set and prompt meeting time. I actually don't get every Saturday off work, and I like to make the most of my time.
