Hey, I really liked the dog from page #1 and the Gandalf study looks good and recognizable (as in - "I recognized it was Gandalf smoking his pipe").

I don't have good advices, because I fear I might give the wrong one. But perhaps I'll try anyway - try to concentrate on improving a single problem in your ability - if you think you are bad at form and everything else is good, then work on that - REALLY HARD. That's what I do, without the REALLY HARD part
    But I try! I do

Anyway good luck, I'm subbed because I do wish to see how you progress further on (you can guess what I voted now).

    Cheerios!

The studies look good. Do you catch up with the anatomical jargon? I never bothered, my memory is too holey for that kind of stuff

About the demon above, many of the details are obscure. Although some of the things look "right", but the overall structure seems confusing. To me it seems like you've tried to use techniques you've not quite yet mastered or are prepared to use at all, like that secondary (reflected?) bluish light. Although who knows, maybe dipping your toes deeply in that stuff early teaches you the ropes faster? I don't know.

About the ball and light study, it looks so hasty I cannot even put words to it. Take your time, you even hurried so much to put your (awesome & impressive) signature on that study that you got the lines of the light that defines that shape of that shadows pass through the ball itself... maybe you had other aims for that study, but those are unclear to me. Focus, take your time.

I'm sorry if I'm being harsh, if you're not into criticism let me know. I do try to help and I'd like you to take your time drawing and think over what you do BEFORE you do it - how do you represent this square with a light coming from that angle? how does that night city's lights reflect upon a nearly calm sea water near it?
Sometimes you go with the flow of the drawing and sometimes you must think and plan and sketch thumbnails and such, mostly because you want to learn and not just create stuff at the level you're at.

Hopefully this is taken with a warm attitude that yearns for improvement.
    Cheerios

p.s- have you tried using bigger brushes in whatever software you're using for your drawings? Your works seem to be comprised a lot from smallish brushes.

Work with Big brushes ,yes. When I had a tablet I favored the softer brushes rather than the hard ones for most of the work. See how those fit you.
I haven't used photoshop with a tablet for over a year now and going to buy one soon because I really need one if I want to continue to progress. Therefore not going to meddle with advising you on this subject much due to lack of experience myself.

As you see, this green jello man has some problems. A lot of stuff trying to jump at my eyes right away as I look at it, the colors you tried for shadowed parts, parts, light parts and reflected light don't mix altogether well.
You've caught some of the shape of the 3D shape of this jello man, especially I like how you did his left arm and the fist. Looks good, although the coloring isn't "smooth". Softer brushes can perhaps help you make a softer transition from one shade to another.
Try adding that extremely concentrated reflected light last, and spare using it
BTW, not sure what's going on with his right hand. I can identify what seems like a thumb but what's the rest of it?

I have more, but I'll just save it for later maybe. No point of throwing out more than one can chew.

great anatomy studies mate! nice to see you working hard. for a suggestion, if i may, your paintings seem to be a bit muddy (and this is a problem i also faced with and I still do). You should do some paintings that are posterized. if you use incorrect values or temperature of colors in a local area, the painting tends to look muddy. for example try to do something like this keeping the the right colors, values, and temperatures in the correct area tends to make the painting more easy to read. Hope that helps! I like that you are working hard, keep it up!

up next im gonna try to put up a really detailed acrylic metallica painting ive been working on for about a week, more of an actual piece that I like hope to get some feedback on - most of the things on here now especially at first are basically just sketches now getting up to the real stuff if that makes any sense.

Hey man, thanks for stopping by.

You're off to a cool start here, as other people have said, keep at the core-skill studies, and try to resist rushing through them to get onto a cool concept painting : )

The tree/orc/ lantern guy: I like that you're pulling in lighting from both the sky, and the lanterns, this is an opportunity to find some ref for studying, and then apply it straight into that current painting.

    Keep it up : )
