Todays studiesssssss. Then 3 from imagination, trying to apply what I've learnt, I notice the girl on the lefts eyes should be more centered.

Tried sculpting a skull (I've never sculpted before..) I used super sculpey and it felt waaaaaay too soft to make something this small.
Todays studies. Still life and master study.
Here's a Zorn master study. I found it quite difficult, all those saturated yellows and oranges next to greys. I can't seem to figure out where to use greys in the skin tones from these studies, it just seems like they blobbed them on at random to me!
Teapot still life on a yellow fluorescent jacket. I couldn't pick colours bright enough to represent the highlights on it, it was also pretty difficult because it was right in front of my monitor and the yellow was reflecting on it! 2nd is a Fetch master study.
Still life from today. Took about 3 hours and made my head hurt!
Shining lamps on my face to try and figure out the forms. I hate faces so much![]()
I've been reading books focusing on heads recently, Loomis' Drawing the Head and Hands, Bridgman's head methods and Hogarth's Drawing The Human Head. I'll need to go through them a few more times to get the information to stick.. But here's a wizard guy.
You are showing signs of rapid progression, really cool to seeI´m also struggling with anatomy and the human face at the moment, you´re studies and work are truly inspirational!

Great progress so far, looking better. Keep it up!
Still just studying antomy, here's a couple of 10 minute studies from tonight. I have some figure drawings to upload when I can be bothered too.
This might be a silly question, but am I actually allowed to upload these? They are studies of photos and a diagram from an anatomy book.
