this is really awesome. please continue and update us!!
what i think is flippin up your armor is that its flat, try practicing in drawing shapes in 3d, oh and I think the guys head is a bit big.
anyway your rendering is superb! ^__^
from several weeks back and proof that I can draw arms when the need arises.
Beautiful rendering- those metal ladies are fantastic![]()
Shame about the arms, but it's good to see some of them have found them![]()
Wonderful sketchbook, I really like the design that goes in your work.
Keep posting!
your work is beautiful, especially the rendering. i love post #5 even if she doesn't have arms. your chow of the metal ballerina is sweet (i like the first one better i think). how long does it usually take you to finish a piece?

sketchbook. comments/advice appreciated (:
It really depends on how much detail I feel like doing. The chow ones took approx a week of evenings - because they had a start date and a deadline - so you are looking at 10-30 hours for those. Often its the preparation and lines/sketch/composition which takes longer than the rendering for me.
The incubus and the flintlock pistol took about 4-5hrs each.
My problem is I'm easily distracted by new ideas and concepts, so I will start something, put the idea down, then draw something else which means few things get finished. If it was for work or I had to focus on a single piece (like for CHOW projects) then I would have more to show.![]()
Wow... really beautiful artworks and concepts in here. I'm looking forward to more![]()
Commission for a friend. Armour and perspective is definitely my weakest area - must keep trying though. :3
Downloaded Alchemy and first thing created was something that looked like a headdress, so I went with it. :3
Great rendering!
Keep it up!
More rendering

Oracle pic started off as a study of a sculpture from a Danish Museum I visited a few months back. The hand is an accurate ref, the hips are improvised because the original statue had cloth drapes down the front.
I like how you make the poses, very fluid.
keep pushin'!
lineart done
Really like your work. I particularly like the rendering of the oracle and the elf girl. I also think that the composition of the armor guy is really good. The elements are well rendered. I think the little bit of flatness comes because the arms are more forward and appear to be of the same thickness as the chest. Still beautiful and I can only hope to draw as well some day.
PS. One odd thing about the armor is the wing/ head backing? It is split down the middle and so wouldn't stop a sword swing from cleaving his brain into a right and left hemi.
Anyway awesome stuff.
A little flat at times, but still stunningly beautiful concepts, line art, and detail. Amazing job. Just watch out on that lighting.
rendering started
Okay so I need some environment concepts for my portfolio because aside from an enchanted forest I painted last year to test some new brushes, its not something I have ever tried to get into or develop.
So I have decided to do some 30mins-1hr landscape speed paints as warmups.
