Hello all,
I'd really appreciate it if you folks could give me some input into improving the content of my website.

I've been a Senior Concept Artist for the past three years and due to the nature of the franchise, the artwork has been very 'niche'.

I'm hoping to eventually go into film concepts as well working on other styles of game, particularly fantasy.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Hi Dan,
I looked around at your site and it's overall pretty good. You have a nice, userfriendly layout and a lot of different styles of work to show.
My one suggestion would be you go through your different portfolios and weed out all the weaker pieces. Some of your work really stands out from others, so let those rise and shine instead of blending in with your less strong pieces.

Also you say you'd like to work for the fantasy genre but I don't see many fantasy focused pieces, also something to add in if that's the path you want to take.

Thanks for your comments Hellcow, it's much appreciated! I better get more Fantasy pieces in there for sure. I'll definitely focus on thinning it out too.

Well I like the site. I like the way the name appears at the top. Are you using lightbox? Its working well.

A few things:
The light bug flying over the city at night in your comic section is HUGE.

Some of the images should probably be in different sections. Illustration is a very wide genre but, I dunno..I expected it to be more finished-looking images. Things which you might see on a book cover. The first image stickerbomb should definitely be in concept section.

Yeah definitely thin it out--you only need 10-12. Some might even say 8-12 good images.

Good site overall. I'm not really a fan of your art style, but the site is good. And man I know its hard getting a site to be right! lol I am trying to do the same. Good luck
