i approve of this thread so heartily. AND ON THE THIRD DAY DID THEY THE HATER SMITE... well done to you all for handling this so appropriately.
and to be relevant: everyone of us should be passionate about what we create to the level that we have a massive goal to make something big. a graphic novel is a large project that will inevitably up one's skill. to finish it one needs to have severe devotion and unfaltering focus on the goal. and unless you've limited your personal style to something finite (see anime/manga styles) you can only get better.
