    Hello everyone !
My name is Mira, I've been spending the last year venturing the digital media.
I'm pretty blown away by all the art here... well I finally found the courage to join.
I'm not very good with talking.. or writhing so I'll just be posting. I'll be grateful for any advice or suggestion you have.
    so... some finished work

lys, there is just so much beauty in this (thus far) short sketchbook!
I really love the watercolors of the man you did, and the entry for Dominance War is making my head swirl with fuzziness. It's just great, do keep up updating. Please?

watercolor: fantastic. graphite: fantastic. digital: fantastic.

One suggestion regarding hair, not that I'm qualified to give it -- drawing hair is impossible, so don't even try. Rather, aim to put marks on the paper that trick the viewer's brain into putting the hair there for you. I've come to believe that this principle extends to drawing everything, but it's easier said than done.

    Hatching 4 ever.

Awesome work! Well done! I love how clean your digital work is. Especially in the studies. Yet it remains more painterly looking. It's really cool.
And the hatching on the self-portrait is also awesome.
    Thanks for the inspiration!

    Very nice!
Do you mind showing some of your traditional media work? I know you are into polishing your digital skills at the moment, but I would enjoy those. I will understand if you don't want to, as you probably want comments and critique on your progress on digital media.

Welcome! I'm fairly new here too, it's a great avenue to share work and get inspired. The pencil drawing is outstanding, those subtle plane changes modeling the delicate forms in the face show a great eye for the nuances in head drawing. Love to see more pencils! Watercolors are outstanding too, love the lost edges. I'd almost like to see that digital interior with the strong lines done in traditional watercolors too, you have such an ease with that medium.
I had to make the transition to digital work many years back, and for me the goal's always been to get as close to my traditional feel as possible(though not always easily attained Is your digital work Photoshop or Painter? If you like watercolor you might find it a little easier to handle wet media in Painter than in Photoshop, I know I did. Though, I'm sure there's plenty of ways to get there in PS too...
    Keep them coming!

lys Diving in to digital,a good move I think. You're doing a great job transitioning. I just received a tablet yesterday and looking forward to learning this media. I've noticed that someone with little drawing skills can leverage their quality using digital help. Some one with good drawing like yours should do great!
    Enjoy your adventure.
