I noticed while doing the above studies, that I am terribly bad at line drawing, especially people.
So...I'm questing to remedy that pubic monstrosity of sadness.

Love, love, love the brush strokes on your fighters and girls. Amazing! Great imagination as well.
swmary: thanks, but im finding brushstrokes w/o good edge use like im doing can be bad, be careful.
Ahh, here is where you are hiding...
@ John T - I would say "floundering" is more like it.
Awesome sb!
I love the Yoda, and your paintings of humans are great too.
Loving the line studies, where they done with any kind of reference?
@Irate Fetus - Thanks, and yeah, I use reference, it comes in handy for studies.
@Dahami - Thanks
@Satupeikko - Thank you very much.
omg I own that butter dish D:
on the noblemans carcanet from post #1 you are just splashing white everywhere and it is not doing any good. there should be a yellow cast to the highlights as in the original, and white is used very sparingly. I would pay more attention to where the light is actually falling, seems you just kind of applied highlights to the carcanet without really observing the original closely, therefore it is not as convincing.
white and black are not very friendly. they need to be used sparingly and only in the darkest or brightest of areas on the painting. truly reflective surfaces, etc. People are only shiny when they are wet or made of metal.

@Naomi Ningishzidda - for real. watch out for those.
Couple more poops.
Just a little quick and dirty.
