Stragan, this is awesome!
Like glancing through the window into the soul of an artiste...
Honestly, this made my day. :-)
My avatar says that I own a camera and was too lazy to actually draw a self-portrait
I'll get right on that self-portrait thing after I finish procrastinating.

It's a combo of two big parts of my identity: the LGBT community and how much I love art (brushes especially. So much so I'd make out with them. Oh watercolors, oh brushes ♥)
I don't know. It's my face.

And then God said, "Let us make man in our likeness and our image. Let us make him ridiculously hard to draw so that poor artists everywhere will have to spend 10,000+ hours failing repeatedly before they can begin to capture the form and likeness onto a two-dimensional surface." And there was man. And it was good. And artists everywhere lost their minds.
What it says on the tin.

Bit of a weasel, me. (Happy, happy weasel!)
I was once on the receiving end of a critique so savagely nasty, I marched straight out of class to the office and changed my major (sketchbook).
I just take what I am the most proud of at a particular time, made by me ...which is sad because I have this avatar for months now ....which means I cant draw a damn thing that is better than this ....FINE FINE ...thats what you wanted? to make me cry? *sobs* .....*runs away crying*
I make LOUD NOISES.
Mine..? It's just a moment I found funny from The Office. (One of my favorite shows.)
.. And, because I'm a girl, I have boobs. LOL
It's the truth / appropriate. (Or a bit inappropriate depending on how you look at it, but that's kind of my sense of humor. XD)

Once, long ago, I did a decent portrait of Rex Harrison as Pope Julius II working from a publicity still for "The Agony and the Ecstasy". Sadly it remains my best work.
