Maybe for the background you could have burning buildings, or a dark desolate forest. Something that gives story to the piece. Where did they come from and where are they going? What is their goal?
    Great drawings, love them all

america220 - Aye, gotta do somethign like that, for the crab girl, I plan on doing finally somekind of bridge, rusty and old the whole scene being something like this horde emerging of a desecated/postapocaliptic sea/city landscape
the other one..well I went weird but I like the idea, posting below

NickyBeats - Yep Im starting to feel more comfortable with digital doodling tho still dont have as much confidence as I have when I grab a pencil

GEB Aye, but that was just a couple days I managed to, then I got packed with work again :p
kingkostas Thanks, if you see something out of place just let me know
    PHATandy Thanks sir
e-nat thanks, anathomy its been always a big concern for me, specially making bodys believable (spelling) tho I still got loads to improve

Also, for this update I'll trow some really basic sketches, I've noticed the total lack of action poses on my pieces, so I want to remedy that for the next pieces I do
also a little detal update on the dragonslayer girl

Oh my, my! I think I've found a new source of inspiration. Your work is really full of life, even if it's static, like you say. I really envy that, haha! Looking forward to seeing what comes of those sketches.

Hey F1X, I saw your avatar on another sb and was attracted so I hopped on over here. I'm glad I did . You have some beautiful work here. Great potential. Here are some suggestions on how to improve, if you want I can go more in depth and explain, but for now I'll keep it short. I think overall you have great ideas and you paint women well, so more men would help to even you out. Try to do more life drawing and painting to push your color variation and subtlety even more. Experiment with traditional / digital brushes and settings to help give your work a fresh / personal look. Gonna subscribe and check back in often

    Psychobuddy - thanks )

Ninjac - Yes I agree, but I gotta disagree about drawing men, I should draw more different things, but I dont think men its mandatory as oppossed to girls, lately I'm discovering too many mandatory things surrounding the "learn about doing concept art", and as I'm not actually dedicating profesionally to concept art so far (I'm graphic designer) I'm gonna pass on some of them
lets say I prefer to keep having fun, but I do appreacite your comment, you are also right about brushes, I gotta experiment

And now a humble update with some mad stuff

Finished this one for now, made significant changes, but shame is I still would prefer to just portrait the char alone, not 100% fancy about the dragon and the bg hummmm

anyway yes i'll drop by your sb see if I can add something helpfull

Never take your work to a therapy session my friend... Especially a female therapist (always tempting to put a space in between the e and the r)

Looking really cool as always, i think you over worked a bit or (under-worked ?) with the dragon girl picture, because the girl looks much better compared to the background imo.

Anyways, keep up with the awesome job!

GEB - heh, actually I think about female figures with big respect, as a complex thing, and yes probably I'm a bit out of my mind

Giorge - Thanks for the advise! if you mean I should work on line weight, thats for sure, I'm really weak on that and also line values and such

Fallenangel - Indeed, I'm still struggling when finishing complex pieces, here indeed the figure imo is nice but the dragon and the BG not so nice, not fresh
this time also my biggest problem was not having really a sketch to follow up, I started with a figure, then added some armor then added some dragon so it had problems all the way, I should really do a linework first (I've always worked like that) and then render everything, freestyling digital fantasy pieces its not working as intended :p

    Razorb - Thanks!
