Diagnosing a used wacom intuos 4 tablet help?

Hi, I'm sorta a lurker here for short while now. I was hoping that you can help me diagnose a 4 months old intuos 4 small tablet cause i was hoping to buy it. I was originally planning on buying a small or medium bamboo but then I saw the ad and well its around $40 cheaper than a medium bamboo. I hope you can help me big time thanks a lot to anyone who's gonna reply.

Did you mean to provide a link or any hints about the symptoms we are supposed to diagnose?

Or maybe you didn't mean diagnose... Is it broken? Or is it working and you just want to know if it is a good price?

Well I hope its working. I mean for testing if any of its parts broken any tell tale sign that its a bad buy due to its hardware malfunctions (Like how to tell that its nibs isn't good anymore or the screen is an awkward buy) cause I'm new to buying graphic tablets so I dont exactly have a background on buying second hands.

the second one is medium. I havent gotten any reply from the second thread yet and yes its not exactly in dollars

this one is a intuos3 medium almost the same price with the small intuos4 but sadly no pics

The thing that mostly gets worn with tablets is the tip of the pen, and there are some replacements in with the Intuos 4 package. At least my large one had something like 5-8 extra tips (they are inside the pen holder). So if the previous user hasn't used hers that much, you should have no problem with that. My 7 years old Graphire4 still has a decent tip. Also, you can buy new tips.

Can't say much more without actually seeing the tablet. They don't break easily though. My school had really old tablets lying around every class room, and I never ran into a broken one. I guess the cord could be bad if the previous owner has a cat or a rabbit or something...

check:
1) the tip in the stylus, it must sit firm, tiny movements are ok.
2) cords, on the end where it is plugged into intous, no movements here and usb-end -> no bends and etc.
3) check the surface in the center of the tablet, the scratches are ok, but the tip of the stylus must be moving on the surface without any stucks.

Thanks alot for the responses :]] I'll be nabbing the medium one by saturday XD (Yey) Hopefully no mishaps by then. And yes Mr. teho and jho (assuming that you are dudes) I'll specifically check on the nibs stylus, surface sheet of the tablet and plug it onto a comp before hand.
