I really like the first creature, zomby. Maybe you can turn up the contrast though, it's kind of hard to examine the pieces because the lines are so light.

here's a series of quick experimental sketches ( sort of speed paintings) i did, primarily made by swinging a digital camera around wildly and photoshopping the results together in interesting ways. and painting in the details.

not the way one would usually approach creature design and im not sure how practical it would be for non-luminous creatures, but i thought it was worth sharing
