I just spent all night going through this thread. You all are very very talented, and you have inspired me to pick up my tools once more. I haven't drawn anything worthwhile since 1996. Yes, I've had Artist Block for that long. Baby Steps,.....
And fitting, as well, as I will be keeping an eye on this forum, and I will be submitting work. The above was done in Photoshop tonight, all freehand. Critique is welcome.
I did this today using ZBrush 2 to model and paint the head. The glow effects and black background were done in Photoshop. This was my first ever attempt at using a 3d modelling program. I thought I'd share with you all in this awesome thread.
I have been perusing this site from time to time for some time and decided to finally contribute something. There is alot of really talented people on this board and it is great to see the diversity of styles and approaches. Monsters rule. Well, enjoy, I guess.
Here's one I just made for a thunderdome challenge.
This one's a few months old.
And finally, one I did about a month ago.
This was posted under a different topic but it fits this thread, so here she is again.
Reality Forge- The Jelly-bug is awesome...what a great idea and a terrific rendering of it. It's beautifully frightening!
