Quick information about myself, I'm your average 17 year old who is trying to improve her art . Critiques, comments and bits of advice are loved so please reply! Anyways, wish me luck!

Didn't draw much today but I did finally muster up the courage to defile my new sketchbook!

Keep going, the only serious advice I can credibly give basically echoes what the veterans preach to everyone, be more confident with your lines.

The whole hatchy-scratchy-feathery lines thing going on is extremely common for a vast number of inexperienced artists. Line quality, line variety, and line confidence all make a difference. Remember, quality over quantity.

Due to the small size of the pictures it's quite hard to see them properly. Some of the faces look a bit squashed, so maybe have a look at Loomis' face proportions

Practicing face structure from Loomis's Drawing The Head & Hands. Hopefully I'll move on to planes tomorrow!
I'm also trying to use more confident lines, but old habits die hard.

It's been awhile.
I'm still working through Loomis and I have started looking at Bridgman as well (I'll post pages from my sketchbook as soon as I have access to a scanner or at least a decent camera!)
Anyways I decided to take a break today and color in an older picture. As always, tips and pieces of advice are loved! Thanks!

Thanks guys! I'll try to be more consistent with uploading stuff!
Anyways here's my most recent set of studies. Basically it's more loomis stuff plus a wolf study. Also here's a rough beauty and the beast comic I am working on.

It might also help you to try the Reilly head construction method. I find it helps me a lot more than the Loomis method when I'm trying to get likeness and see form -- it's more detailed so has more information and easier to see what you're doing wrong. The best place I know to learn this is this video by Ron Lemen (unfortunately, the video is squished for some reason, so it may be worth watching in VLC so you can unsquish it). But I'm sure if you google around you'll find other demos.
