I'm trying to start a NorCal sketch group!

Hi guys,

No one ever checks the NorCal local artists thread and after the MB life drawing stopped the Bay Area sketch group totally disintegrated. Well it's a lot different for me now. I have a car, I'm older, etc. And I REALLY wish that such a group still existed. I'd like to start one. I don't quite no where or when but I'd like to start a weakly group that meets up, and sketches, etc in the Bay Area (probably SF or maybe Marin.)

Personally, I really love the Yerba Buena Gardens and Golden Gate Park so one of those two places would be pretty cool. Maybe we could do something in doors in the autumn or winter?

Sebastian Hyde runs an open life drawing session in his house in Oakland. Drawing on Tuesday nights and weekends for the long poses and painting. You should call first and check the availability.

hey i used to live in sacramento! my parents and i had to move up north to oregon in january though...


this sounds like itd be alot of fun! good luck making it work, Jacob!

side note: ive always wanted to live in SF. i might consider going to a college there or something...
