leondrago,thanks!
Here is a batch of this week's sketchbook pages. Also I've redone my Thor piece, this time I first did a full value study, and only after that got down to coloring.

Everything here looks great! Your lines look so clean and accurate. Try to use a bigger brush than you're used to when you paint, all the little strokes from small brushes like in the onion can be distracting. Also try to keep all of your detail in either the light or the shadow. Make the eye go somewhere, where are we supposed to look if everything is equally important?
Awesome work, keep it up!
Vertical,thanks for advice!

Nice group of sketches. You're catching the form well, by that I mean the shadows ( core shadow) and outline. I would suggest playing with your line quality. Your laboring to much, trust yourself to pull your line. You will have more variety of line with more vitality. Leave some open edges the views mind likes to close them. Keep up the good work.

mburrell,thanks for advice.

New stuff of this week and some new techniques I'm trying to implement into my work.

Beautiful pencil work! Keep up those digital studies from life; that's a great way to improve your painting technique. Also, watch your edges; sharp edges, especially in the shadowed areas, flattern the object and make it appear two-dimensional. Soft edges suggest rounded, curving contours. Keep up the good work!![]()
