    OMG THE END IS NEAR!!!!1

Not really. I don't know what you people are whining about. Microsoft has an excellent track record of giving its game developers lots of money so they can make the best game they can. Plus they don't interfere with the creation of the game like other publishers. Just look at Microsoft's game publishing history.

Age of Empires 1 and 2
    Age of Mythology
    Rise of Nations
    Halo
    Dungeon Siege
    Asheron's Call 1+2
    Impossible Creatures
    All those Flight Simulators
    MechWarrior 4
And dear god I don't want to continue listing things.

If anything this is a good thing because it just means solid funding for Bioware (not to mention more money) rather than having to look for a publisher for each game. Now... if EA was buying Bioware... then would be the time to be afraid.

Yeah its funny how the Microsoft get blamed for the developers screw-ups even though they are the publisher.

It`s not like they`ll drastically change the formula of their games. I hope.

I wish Microsoft would buy Black Isle after Interplay raped it and finish developing what they started. Microsoft has tons of marketing cash and a proven trackrecord, in short they know how to run a business and won't have poor management like interplay when it was partnered with Bioware and owned BI.

How can a company dissolve a studio such as B.I in which Bioware produced such hits as Icewind Dale, Baldur's Gate, Planescape Torment, Fallout, etc.
