    Wink

My idea represent the unability to solve problems.

skull represents people from current life who think as a chicken when the kife coming to kill her and she still looking for food and that we can see it in the chicken head.

Good face construction on the first, hair could do with a bit of work though.

Second is fab apart from the legs, they are way too thin, check out some anatomy books and try to get some good proportions down

Good start to your sketchbook, keep posting!

Interesting artwork here, I would love to see more. I like how original this thread is, but I would suggest maybe starting with some studies too. Either proportions and anatomy (from loomis or bridgman or vilppu or kevin chen for example) or some value studies. Keep up the good work, I'll be back

Hey, thanks for visiting my SB.
Have a great things going on here. My favorite is the happy warrior, very good shading. For the last monster on post #14 - when draw, don't be afraid to pick much darker colours in shades (but never totally black).

I like your use of colour and there's some interesting ideas you're coming up with- though the eyes look a wee bit flat.
I'd practice them some more, think of them as actual spheres stuck in the head xD (Dear god, that's a terrible summary)

Thanks for commenting in my sketchbook. You yourself have some interesting things going on here.

    A few suggestions:

Your digital pieces are off to a good start, but have a "mushy" look for a lack of a better word. This is because they have sharp edges but the insides are very soft and blended. A mixture of some softer edges and some harder sections on the inside would help to fix this. I would suggest using a hard edged brush to paint (I ONLY use the basic hard round); it better describes form. A great thread that describes it better than I can:
    http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=107217
    And a thread on edges:
    http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=51913

I also would like to see more stuff done from life. I think it is one of the best ways to improve. Doing stuff from imagination is great, but to bring it to the next level some studies from life are really helpful.

Anyways, keep posting and don't forget to have fun!

Hmm by contrast I mean that ou should have more of a difference between your lights and darks - mainly you need more darks atm.

Just take whatever is there on your desk next to your pc and draw it, believe me it helps a lot!
