Maybe we could all submit a name/title etc, that'll keep us occupied till a confirmed date is announced etc...

FLORENCE - I say yay to Koshimes post - It would be nice if we all just went to Italy, took over a hostel, and arrange days out drawing 'n sightseeing ourselves,we can meet our Euro friends in the evening after the w/s.... (<---damn, this is NOT good publicity,Im so so sorry but...) Florence has far too much to see for itself....

RE: Hurricanes post...is that a?..... is that a challenge?.... Should we go poke the Scandinavians in THEIR own fread as did Hurri in ours? I mean, like, is 'e like startin like? Oh, I still love that. I just cant seem to paint anything but kids painting in it. have a look at the hogfather... the kids world was courtesy of artrage.

On me new mac its soooo fast. I certainly feel like a kid!

Hahahahahahhahaa that's even better! I'm using Photoshop almost exclusively, and using piles and piles of layers hahaha

Yeah Glandular fever sucks Naomi, my glands in my neck swelled up and i went yellow with jaundice!!!! Looked like a right freak! Again caught from a lovely girl called Ruth in my first year of uni who neglected to tell me she had had it before. God damned "kissing disease"!!!!

Congrats on the new job Kim, sounds like the real big time. Good stuff.

Welcome all new comers and who's thinking of going to Florence, be good to get an early roll call of uk folk. I am and so is Ali my girlfriend who some of you met at one of the meets. Hope to make a meet sometime soon, but its all about timing.

Hybridstar > most like myself and Molly will be in florence but not at the workshop. More for R&R, painting on the side and meeting up with the cA LOT post workshop. So more like a CA Florence Tour and paint rather than CA florence payshop

I'm free Feb 5th and 6th and might be meeting up with best man Sketchling at our ole nandos on Feb 8th, might be free Feb 10-11th

Just came back from 2 days of chinese feasting and poential drunkeness with Sketchling as best man for my chinese wedding reception (part 2 of 3) with the last one finsihing on Nov 2007 or jan 2008

It was great driving past stonehenge at night, surviving a 11 course chinese meal and countless family photographs and meeting new relatives that I embrace (13+ new cousins of 8 girls and 5 boys
and others who did not attend). My wifes relatives alone number 56 in one large family photo (for those who managed to attend)

Sketchling was finaly great as a wife prop, having been sober enough to help drag lisa out from the nightclub to the hotel in our stuporific states

So, a great thank you again to Skectchling and +1 (sharon).
You were great company and all round superb.
Congrats on the gig onto bigger and better things!

Field trips:

I'd like to organise a trip to the following locations during spring/summer

South England

1/ Isle of Avalon, Glastonbury

Tie in with glastonbury festival?

2/ Tintagel, Lands End (Cornwall)

For sheer atmosphere it is tough to beat Tintagel. The 13th century castle is a romantic ruin constructed on a windswept point of rock, with waves crashing all around. The castle is surrounded by Roman and Dark Ages remains, but more thoroughly surrounded by legends of King Arthur, who is said to have been born here. Alternate legends claim that Tintagel is the site of Camelot, Arthur's court, though that honour is also claimed by a dozen or so places throughout the British Isles!

3/ Project Eden, South Exeter (St Austell)
Accesible by Car, Train (from london, then a 45 walk through rugged industrial/countrside), Bus

I try to combine natural beauty, history and art potential with all the places i visit in UK. So any feedback or interest just holler up (otherwise I just tend to go solo anyways
