i think i might be in line for a job in the ballroom right by me, well its called the ballroom but its really a theatre, so id be on front of house which is basically just collecting tickets and you get to watch shows for free, how awesome, plus its just evenings which i would like, i hate giving up weekends, because im busy enough as it is. so yeah. im gonna go in tomorow morning and see what i can do.

ok, someone said they had something on on the 29th, so how about the 30th? ie: the sunday? might be easier for a lot of people.

yes! sunday is more do-able. i didnt make it into work today i didnt get up in time as i had somewhere to be by 12 today. soooo ill see if i can get up in time tomorrow hehe. ill pop into work and see what i can do for the sunday, maybe my cousin will cover my shift. yeah atm i dont have much money, im waiting for different payments to be made to me, im still waiting for a nice sum to be repayed to me since april - my tax but anyways

I'm Marleen, 16 years of age and live in the Netherlands,

It just happens to be so that I'll be staying in Gorseinon, near Swansea, near Cardiff from the 28th this month until like the 3rd of august....
Soooooo... Maybe I can go with Quicksilver and Lefran to the meeting in London? And maybe I can bring my boyfriend too because he doesn't like me going somewhere all by myself meeting people I never met before?

This idea just popped into Tie and my head when he told me there would be a london meet the 30th of july...

I didn't talk this over with my boyfriend yet, so it's not really sure.
But anyways, since Quicksilver and LeFran live close to Cardiff (right?) I would like to meet up with you two anyway. And if you could just get Seanie/ Tie to go with you back from the London meet it would be nice too lol.

So, nothing's sure, but I'm so excited

my boss is on holidays and only the assistant manager was there, but hes so thick he didnt have a clue whther i could have the time off. so basically.... im coming to london whether they like it or not. i have given them enough time and its rediculous if i cant have the time off considering i have given a few weeks notice. if they do not give me the time off i will quit as ive already said.

So i will be there!!!

Right then, Oxfordinio meet soon, by which i mean i'll get some people together probably at my house soon, and have incremental meets down the pub, i recently got back in contact with Porgy and Pupil, with James and yAdam just down the road i'm thinking we could get a fortnightly thing together, but i need to know when you guys have free evenings. I can rally further graphite addicts who just lurk here and there, but i know they love to draw

Afternoon chaps and chapesses....

........just come back from the Constable exhibiton at the Tate Britain, some really cool stuff there so it is worth going to ! The six foot exhibition pieces are great because they have Constable's six foot 'sketches'

next to the originals. So you can compare the compositions when he made the sketches into final Academy pieces.

There are a few smaller pieces and sketches as well, but some paintings weren't there that would have been great pieces in this exhibition, but most of those are in American collections.......

Oxford meet would be great! Can't make it in the next 2 weeks though..I'm working with my dad until I can find a proper job, and I got to get up at 6:45 every day

I would have free evenings, but i'm so knackered when I get back I can just about sit at my comp and paint, though I would come if i'm not too tired..Going to a friends wedding on saturday/sunday, and the next week its the meet in london. I'm free all week starting the 29th, but I wont have a car ...so it would have to be the bus..

hmm, that reminds me, I got to work out how to get back from the station after london............................

Think I'll be attending the Rebels & Martrs exhib. as it looks interesting and it's only £4 for me, mweheh. Can't say I know anything of the contextual side of them though.
