Yo man... Nice to see you started your sketchbook.
I would say though, on that picture with the cell phone. Decrease the image size when you post them. The max size is 1000. It took up all my screen space lol.
when I save, I usually go for (save for web- size 800) in Photoshop.
Anyway, keep it up. You got potential.
Peace.

Yessss man! I like the title "Journey through a thousands of sketches" Thats the right attitude man! A small crit I have is to watch your edges. Especially on the phone. Make sure your edges are nice and clean, because at the moment, they are a bit jagged. Spend as much time as you have to try and get the painting as close as possible to the subject matter. Keep them studies comin.
photo refs the helmets took me quiet a while to finish it. dont know why its easy to work on stuff like that but when it comes to figures its hard.

I see your improvement. Still got miles to go! So do I... but I'm not even studying this stuff right now. It's not necessary. Don't have to know what I mean.
Keep practicing. Can't wait to see more!
Peace!

yo those box exercises are really helping. I see improvement. But what I don't see is how you're learning the basics and doing them good, and then when it comes to a master painting you don't even demonstrating what you learned from the basics?
that's working backwards if you ask me. Actually, if you study the basics and you do good at them, you should be able to translate that into the master paintings. But I barely see it. Maybe I'm being to critical, or maybe you're too intimidated by master copies to do them justice. Either way. I know you can do better!
start UTILIZING those basics your practicing man!
Andre out.
