Offcourse you can come along, everybody's welcome. Oh, about the question, past sketchgroup meetings were often in Amsterdam, because that's easier for pro's that were coming to (they work in Amsterdam), but we also had sketchgroup meetings in Utrecht, it just depends on where everybody wants to go.

Anyway, this one is in Amsterdam, so if you want to come, your welcome, it's gonna be tons of fun, just chilling together, drawing, discussing the important questions in life etc. etc. So...uhm....come.

I'd love to go, but I have to work that day, and I won't be taking a day off because I'll already be taking the two weekends after that off..
Maybe we could arrange a sketchgroup meeting during the week also once? At thursday and friday I'm out of school at 12.10
But I guess a lot of you will be working then?

Ik wil graag een weekje meelopen in het begin van komend schooljaar op het HKU, dat lijkt me heel gaaf enzo, ik zou er graag wat van willen proeven.
Nu vroeg ik me af; bij welke opleiding zou ik het beste mee kunnen lopen voor een week? Ik ben zelf vooral van het schetsen en een beetje digital painting, maar ik sta er wel voor open om nieuwe dingen te leren enzo. Daniel vertelde me over GameDesign, en dat is misschien wel wat voor me eventueel, maar misschien ook weer niet want heel veel heb ik ook weer niet met games hmpf, ik vind het gewoon zo moeilijk om beslissingen te maken!
Zouden de HKU'ers onder ons eventueel wat willen vertellen over wat ze zelf doen en waarom ze dat hebben gekozen ofzo? En wat opleidingen zouden zijn die bij me passen? Voor meer info zie m'n schetsbook.

I looks like the weather is gonna be awesome, so outside would be the best option. I think Museum- or Rembrantsquare would be a good place to hang. The Vondelpark will be packed!!!

I really enjoyed yesterday's Sketch Jam. Had a great time! Really cool to meet you guys and discussing art with beers and Lasagna... and Rabbit!? Man, why did everybody go mental over that Rabbit meat ;p

My toe got operated on a couple of times because of the toenail , still everytime after a couple of months it came back to show it's ugly head. UNTILL a half year ago . I'm CURED!

I heard something about sketches of steampunk samurais and fish viking gods??

Had a blast yesterday, I'm glad the sketchgroup is back in action, and with so many new faces. It's already a cool group. Looking forward to next month.

We'll pick a date more in advance so more people can come. Also it's a good idea to have eachother phone nrs., it makes it so much easier, we were waiting for a few people yesterday that never showed up. PM me for my nr.

Had a really great time there in amsterdam people, too bad the ones that were not there, were, well... not there It is so much more motivating to be drawing people that are motivated by the fact that you are drawing. (see the endless inspiration loop?)

Good quality stuff present and a chillout vibe, hope to be able to come to the next one!

My summer vacation starts at the 1st of July officially (that's quite soon huh?), but about a week before, we have unofficial vacation.
How's this with you other dutchies? When does your vacation start?
I think we (southern Netherlands) are first this year with schoolvacations.
I guess the people who have real true jobs (thinks; the guys from streamline studios?) will have other vacations tho.

My vacation is the month june, then I start internship in july already. Weekends are free most of the time.

I don't believe the streamline guys have vacations..

edit: the plan is to have one meeting every month. We pick a date and unless too many people scream they can't make it, it's on that day.
