This might be quite a shot in the dark, and a bit off-topic, but does anybody here know a Ralph H Clemmons? I bought a small painting of his from a junk store and it had his info stamped on the back.

All I can find online is that he's passed away now (he'd be in his 100's I think), he lived with Ila Clemmons (in her late 50's I think), and he was a member of Seattle Co-Arts.

It's a nice little painting but fairly dirty and stained, which is too bad. Anyway, I was just wondering if anybody here knew of him.

I would love to show up for these, but Fridays tend to be tough nights for me. Would it be too much trouble to plan a different evening? Mon, Tue, Wed and Sun evenings are solid for me. On the other hand, I'm 99% sure I can make next Friday, Karmiclychee.

Heh, I don't expect this thing to revolve around my schedule, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask, especially if other nights may work better for a majority of people.

Also, there is a watercolor painting group that meets every Friday from 1:30-4:30 in Ballard if anyone wants to come. I think it costs $3 to just drop in, but all skill levels are welcome. Tomorrow, Sunday, from 3-5pm I am doing a FREE workshop at Utrecht (on the corner of Pike and Melrose) on the fundamentals of drawing from life. Bring something to draw with and a piece of your favorite fruit if you are interested. More info at my blog.

After the free workshop from 3-5pm, Utrecht is hosting a FREE life drawing session (with a nude model) from 6-9pm. I will be moderating and helping if anyone needs help. You gotta be there about when it starts though, as the store closes at 6, and they close the doors shortly afterwards. Hope to catch some of you there.

So I find myself free more than usual for a while. Did people want to try a time other friday evening? I can't do thursday, saturday, or sunday, but otherwise I can probably make it.
