if we were to meet friday, we might have to do something earlier than our usual 8:00, i think. the reason we planned it saturday was so we'd have plenty of time for sketching outside. according to the us navy observatory, the sun will set at 8:44 p.m.

If we want to meet earlier in the day, it might be easier to arrange transportation for a Saturday rather than a Friday.

I could just be rambling though!

Hmm...anyone else missing the clinky beer emoticon?

I see you got a little club here, cute little americans!

Just thought I'd pop over and introduce some culture into your nice wee thread. You know, Benny Hill, raping other peoples' cultures then getting populated by them, etc, etc.

And you're always welcome to pop over to London town and join us.

Europe - where the history comes from!

    They're onto us!

So the Torchlight Parade might be a problem. Downtown basically shuts down around 10am and stays packed all day long. I don't know how bad Capitol Hill gets but driving anywhere near downtown on Saturday probably won't be a pleasant experience.

Maybe we can meet on Sunday?

Friday at 7 sounds fine to me. We should be there for a good sunset if the weather is right.

I should be able to make it on Friday, but the game I'm working on right now ships this weekend, so they might need me to stay late on Friday to fix last minute art glitches.. hopefully I can make it though -- I'm looking forward to seeing you all again and comparing new sketches!

As far as food goes, there's Minnie's Cafe about 1/2 mile away, Beth's Cafe by Greenlake, and Denny's at 15th Avenue NW and Market Street in Ballard.

There's a couple of coffee shops up the street from Kerry Park: Starbucks, Tully's, and Cafe Ladro. I don't know how big they are though. Hoyt's is a really nice pub that is up the street also. I think it's all ages, not sure though.

I forgot I had a couple of pictures from Kerry Park from last year's Seafair. The Blue Angels fly right over head lining up for their next flyby over on Lake Washington. It's quite a sight to see.

Coolness... Friday it is I'll try and be there.

Ruptured GasTank - Sent you an email and I'm on yahoo to chat. Are ya gonna be able to give Sok and me a ride to Kerry Park tommorow (Friday)? Let me know.

Sok N. Wett - You coming too? I sent ya a PM. I'll be at your house around 6 tommorow if you wanna go. Maybe I'll scan in some of my sketcbook then. Well if I don't get a reply from ya, I'll give you a call. And if you don't answer... well, I'll just show up at your house anyway. I'm sure you'd wanna go, but just don't know about it.

Sorry, got carried aways with the British Chic's accent. They seduced me. Actually, I know some of those folk like Pudding from speedpaint for quite a while. But why are you Banned from Eatpoo?
