I've never hung out with other artists, so a meet would be fun. Looks like I'll need to start brushing up on my drawing skills.

Damn, I used to live on Vashon Island, now I'm back in Arizona. Looks like there's a lot more folks in the Seattle area wanting to get together for some sketchin' than down here in the AZ. Sucks for me...

    hey everyone,

i have an idea, how about this friday, at the trabant chai lounge at 8:00?

just a casual thing, i think we could just bring our sketchbooks and see what happens. i see the other groups around the world have begun to organize mini-sessions and whatnot, i figure we could start by getting acquainted and then maybe discuss something.

i'll be there, and bring my buddy kristen from work. i will wear a bright green shirt.

    hope to see you all!

it's ok, kristen and i ended up getting lost finding the place [ends up there's the same street address on the other side of the freeway, heh] and getting there ~45 minutes late

we're going to try this again real soon, though.

just post the time and place...i think it should be as close to downtown as possible, thats the most central location

a few days warning, and hopefully i see and check. if i'm not working, i'm there.

also, i'd be driving from Kent...i could maybe give a ride and whatnot, depending on how far out of the way...

    North of Seattle

I normally am closer to Seattle in summer (Bothell), but right now I'm up at WWU, in Bellingham, and gots no car... so I don't think I could just make it someplace on a whim. If anybody's in that area though, perhaps. I'm shooting for this summer though! I'd love to get together.

Yeah it's hard getting something started when most people are busy certain days.....but it's a nice idea. I won't be able to join the group for awhile until I get some things settle, but once it is i'm down for some sketching.

Nova: I use to live up in Bothell last year while working at Circuit City in Lynnwood before moving back down to Tacoma.
