Some crap, and studies.
MeteorCat, Mila, jsn: thanks alot guys!
I've been sick and without a computer for about a week and didn't really have much energy to draw at all, sorry for the long break. Heres some quick stuff I managed to scrape together.
Mila: Thanks man! Those are all from imagination.
MeteorCat: Thanks! Trying to get back on track
Quick study, some crap from imagination
5 stars! Merry christmas! *****
MY DAILY SKETCHES
If you can read this, I gave you 5 stars
MeteorCat: hehe, I wish! Thanks man
Dark_Eyes: Thanks a bunch! Hope you liked what you saw
Christmas is over! Excited to get back to drawing. Some crap to get us going. Trying some new stuff, not sure how I like it but was fun nonetheless.
pretty cool stuff - i really liek some of your new enviroments
maybe you could bring some action into them, it looks a bit like you strictly divide the topics char/enviroment/still life/scifimachine etc, putting some characters or vehicles or buildings into imaginative landscapes can make then a lot more "alive", like this one here http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1324242543 it could really need some "spice"... like a sorcerer with a red cloak that floats in the wind, or a shamans hut or a scout vehicle etc..
keep up posting, your work is very promising
whoah this is awesome stuff! I love it all!
Love your environments, nothing but congratulations from me, keep posting.
A creative artist works on his next composition because he is not satisfied with his previous one. When he loses a critical attitude toward his own work, he ceases to be an artist. - Dmitri Shostakovich
xbert: Thanks alot for the crit! You're totally right. I can't seem to be able to create interesting paintings. I've been trying to break out of my comfort-zones and create something new but I haven't had much luck so far. I feel like every time I'm adding something - as you just said I should - I feel like I'm just doing it to solve some compositional problems. Thanks again! I'll try to pay more attention.
Jarrad & Tea of Doom: Thanks alot guys! I'm glad you like them.
Heres one more quickie for today.
More on the last nights painting, I don't really know what to do with this. Any crits are welcome, as always!
Another enviro + quick study.
Really amazed by your work man, Liking those clouds, landscapes and enviroments alot, keep them coming!
dlincoln83: I don't think I'm good enough to be an inspiration! Thanks for your kind words
Gpozzo: Thanks man! Will do
Last update of the year, crappy quick study, didn't spend too much time on this one.S ome fast silhouettes. Rest of the stuff I made today isn't really post worty
It looks like you are using a lot of simple strokes with various sized brushes... AND YOU CREATE THAT!? I mean, it kind of makes sense to me with the environments, but the armor... *amazed*
I so need to train observation!
In general, you have a great sketchbook and would definitely like to see more
