A Sketchbook.

Hello.
Today is my 15th Birthday, and I've decided to start drawing more to learn and improve over the next few years. I've just joined CA.org, but it seems like an amazing community and a useful resource- so here we go;

Sorry for the bad images (I'll try and get them scanned in later, if it decides to work again.)

This is a selection of drawings I've done over the last two weeks.
The pear, hands and skull are from references/photos.
The self portrait, plant and apple are from life.














I'll try and update this as much as possible, and comments/crits are greatly appreciated.

A quick update- The easter holidays are here so I should hopefully get to draw a lot more. Now all I have to do is think of ideas...

Studies from Civardi - Drawing Portraits Faces and Figures as well as a drawing from a photograph. Quite fun, I really like this method of shading.

Another quick update, wasn't going to show this stuff as it's pretty awful. So many mistakes- I think, however, it's worthwhile to post pretty much anything I do, otherwise this is all pretty pointless.

I seriously need to work on eye-placement- I can never get the lips symmetrical either. I'll probably take a break from these to work on value/other things.
