Just a quick 1 hr photo ref for today. nothing too polished. Focusing on the light of the armor and its reflections around it.

KEEP IT UP!
Thanks for the comment man, it was fun talking. face studies are looking good!
Your sketchbook is amazing, I love all of your uploads, congratulationsIt motivates me to see that you also followed some Loomis books, someday I'll be able to draw better. Your thumbnails on landscapes are really interesting and composition is perfect, I'd love to see more!
Great studies man, really inspiring me to get my ass in gear. I love that you're really working on everything, but my only suggestion is to maybe do slightly more focused stuff. Like you did some lips, eyes, landscapes, noses, but pick one of those things to study HARD, apply, do some other stuff so you don't get get bored, then hit the same thing HARD and apply again. You know? I only say that because I've been doing like 2 week periods of having much more intense focus on one thing and it's really helping me to improve more quickly.
I dunno, works for me anyway, but keep up the great work man, cheers. I'll try to hang out in your stream more!

Hey man, you doing pretty good already just keep going and doing those studies. I think your weakpoints right now are form and value. Try doing more studies for that, other then that just keep studying those basics.
Hey man, thank for commenting in my sb. Your studies are looking great. You seem to be working hard, keep it up!
Very nice studies dude. I really like the fox in post #1 and the first image in post #12 - that light touch of texture on the tunic adds a subtle tactile feeling that's really nice. Just be careful not to overdo it especially on distance surfaces where too much texture can be distracting or give the image a strange over-sharpened appearance (which I think is happening a little in the image in post #21).Your figurative studies also seem to be coming along well; they have a really nice sense of volume and depth. Keep up the good work!![]()
