I came here to thank you for checking my sketchbook and also check some of your work, which is full of personality

I must say, the second image of your latest post kinda reminds me of iumazarkworks and it's really nice to see that you're doing studies but also experimenting things of your imagination! Keep it up!
Please, check my SKETCHBOOK and leave feedback. I want to improve!

I like those warmup gestures, they are very expressive!
Be careful not to make the heads too small in your anatomy studies, happened a few times in post #153.
I love the portrait of the blonde though How did you do this texture in the background?

    Have a nice day!

Hey, nice work! Try making longer studies of the figure to focus on proportions, measure the hell out of everything. Don't forget to check verticals, horizontals and diagonals.

Nothing special today i was most of my day out but here are some sketches during coffee time out i think iam having an obsession with women and hats... and some older sketchbook pages
Januz thnx man yeah for sure iam must give more importance to measuring cause i see it even when i sketch something iam sloppy dammit and must quit that habbit ASAP.thnx for dropping by buddy
tj0ri thnx man your gestures are awesome dont know how you do it but i really love them
Lyraina thnx for the tips dear well the texture isnt that tough.I have quite the experience with photomanipulation cause i study graphic design and well photo edit is a skill that must be at a high level.
Basically the background layer the white one is scanned paper with some ink splatted around i also use a pallete knife and acrylics for texturing. the other one is just a halftone its not that hard to make one u can find the halftone in the filters menu or create it from skratch in illustrator.I love halftones and they are cool also for shading.Anyhow if you want some tips or anything you need to ask for texturing or image manipulation just ask me thnx for dropping by hun.

Hi, and thanks for dropping by my sketchbook
you got lots of creative stuff going on here, but you seem to have problems with construction and proportions. I think doing gestures is a good way to get better at that stuff. here are links to some good referance stuff, espesialy lovecastle and pixlovely.
other than that you just have to slow down and try to think about the lines you put down

It’s a great thing having a female hat obsession. I was calculating a bit
in the dark and realized, that it’s a very positive idea to convince a female
to go totally naked and to leave only her hat on. Especially if she has some
bad hair day, or she’s going pretty much bald. But having a half bald girlfriend
is maybe not a very good idea. People might stare and ask various questions.
That animal from some bird family that loves pasta, has some Christopher Reeve
spirit within. God rest his soul. Through its eyes I realized that has some cosmic
connection. Natalia Portman is her name if I am guessing right, you did her portrait?
What a wonderful deed. I will mail her about this project. I think that she will be
very pleased. Did you know that as a child, she was always fantasizing about losing
her virginity to a frozen dark hill cave troglodyte? Her wish never came true of course,
how foolish she was. Had some phobia from the male genital for a long long time, but
she treated it successfully after many tries. Overall I like your progress, and I like
how you do black and white studies, will help you realize shapes and values more.
Also when you do gestures, remember that flow line that you have to draw first
before you start anything else. You are very great and successful already,
so keep on doing the best things.

Nice work so far, one thing though, when you take your time with your figures, well when you do gestures as well, make sure you always think of the underlying structure or framework of the body. Imagining a simple skeleton structure really makes it easier to lay the other forms on top, muscles and stuff, it tends to help with making your figures look strong and alive. Keep up the hard work though, you're certainly improving!

Hey man, thanks for your comment and your advice on portraits/colors. Do you have some more tutorials on skin colors. It is really
    challenging:-)
Here some linework tips. first of all, practice practice and practice.
1.Try to use your elbow and not your wrist for drawings. Feng Zhu made an impressive video about this. Check this design cinema:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3lApsNmdwM Feng is drawing with his "elbowtechnic" at about http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3lApsNmdwM ;-)
    2. I tried simulating the linework of very good artists like the inkwork of moebius. And have a look on this artist. THIS is an amazing
    linework, EXAMPLES: http://nicktheartisticfreak.devianta...%2F70238&qo=11
    and http://nicktheartisticfreak.devianta...2F70238&qo=151 and
    http://nicktheartisticfreak.devianta...2F70238&qo=194. This dude from canada
is simply great, I totally his (older) pieces.
    3. Last but not least: I think you have some issues with constructive anatomy in general. THe concept artist guru kevin chen uploaded the
whole studies he had made during his classes. Very good studies.
    Have fun.
    Greetings and keep it up.

You know that you have to do a vast amount of referenced drawings,
so your imaginary paintings and creations could go better. It’s not bad
to try yourself from time to time, and to have some fun drawing from mind,
but take care to do around 70 percent referenced or life drawings and only 20
or 30 percent of imaginary. As the objects build up in your head after time,
you can increase your imaginary ratio, and you will surely surprise yourself
with some positive things. On the girl with hat, painted from imagination I
can sense a bit of flatness, the viewer cannot really tell that the hat is really 3D-ish.
Try more values and think of round object, if the hat is round. Drawing things
from life is boring if you ask me, but it’s something like a must to get better
results. The head studies are totally ok, I don’t know exactly what to suggest,
except to do these drawings on a regular basis. Let’s say, five or ten heads daily.
Ten days, and those are already hundred heads. You will see tremendous improvements,
and just as I said, you will surprise yourself big time. Take care till our next meeting.
