    FreDre's Sketchbook

So, I'm kinda new here but I've been following this forum for a while.
I love painting, I discovered it 2 years ago and I just can't have enough.
The problem is that I kinda suck at drawing:
I have huge issues with anatomy, proportions and perspective.
So I'm gonna post some studies of human anatomy and other paintings afterward but for now I'm gonna show some of my digital paintings I've done recently.
Please, destroy me, criticize everything that you can think of.
I really want to improve my skills
    thanks!

Very nice stuff so here is my opinion on things you can improve:

On the first drawing, her hair on the right is like "upon" her face, it doesn't really look natural. The hair is very detailled and the skin doesn't have enough details compared to it, so it doesn't really look in harmony.

On the second one, I'd say her neck is too thin, or too long, but it is what "chocked" me when I saw it (but awesome job on the face and hair )

The third one, I couldn't really say, I'm not really used to that type of style. It's original ^^

The 4th is very nice, but you could work more the details so it doesn't look too blurry. Is she against a wall? the shadow is not clear/dark enough to be really convincing, but maybe you didn't intend to do that either.

    Keep it up!

So here are my latest paintings, ranging from oldest to newest.

I'm just copying pictures right now because every original art I make turns out very poor (bad anatomy, perspective, composition).
I'll post later some WIP to get some constructive criticism.

Well, there's no big secret, you just have to spend many hours on it. I wish there were some shortcuts but there are not

Anyways, I'm working on a new one, should be finished in a few days.
    Will keep the thread updated
